21st March 2013 - heavy legs and facebook!

So far its been a mixed week, after finishing last week with a long ride, the ride to work on Monday was pretty hard work, the ride home was even harder!  I guess I'm still getting back into clocking up the regular miles again and conditioning the legs after a pretty relaxed winter, but damn my quads were aching.  After a few days of training and conscious that I've got the Eastleigh 10k on Sunday I've been trying to take it a little easier for the rest of the week, that said I did do a 10k run to the gym on Wednesday after work followed by a cracking session in the outdoor pool during a rare glimpse of sunshine.

 

My other biggest achievements this week is the launch of our new Facebook page!  Paul and I have been having quite a few conversations with Bea from NB Alliance UK and trying to plan things out and decided a facebook page would give us a more central focus to advertise what we're up to.  It's still very much under construction and we really need to get some better pics of us in our team kit to update the banner etc... but it's getting there... so please like the page if you haven't already :)
